Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo

Monte-Carlo is synonymous with jet set lifestyles and setting new standards in luxury. What is the best hotel in Monte Carlo? Hôtel de Paris or Hotel Metropole? Hôtel de Paris is famous thanks to James Bond movies.

Personally I like more Hotel Metropole as the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is a hotel with character and soul. A cosmopolitan and elegant hotel, offering glamor and sensuality.

Featuring 141 rooms, including 64 suites and the fabulous Golden Square Suite (1,302-square-foot penthouse), this creative new concept of quality, personality and innovation sets us apart from Monaco’s existing hotels. The hotel attracts an elegant clientele; “young”, sophisticated, cosmopolitan and demanding, who are seeking a palace in tune with the times.

The hotel’s opulent atrium, with its unique glass dome, sets the scene for the stylish and lavish atmosphere. Each bedroom is finished to the highest specification and is rich in textures. Cool colours come together with the finest natural materials including solid wood and smooth slate to offer stunning bathrooms.

Hotel’s gardens now comprise over 30 species representing more than 3,000 varieties of plants but the stunning flora and fauna is not limited to the exterior of the property. In addition to the main entrance and gardens, a number of other areas of the property have been filled with stunning creations. The 7th floor terrace is embellished with clematis, blue bells, olive and prune trees. Yew trees also criss-cross the space. The third floor terrace includes Australian myrth, pink bells and a selection of plants including woodwardia and palm trees. The restaurant’s terrace features vibrant flowers alongside olive trees, whilst the pool area is surrounded by a gorgeous variety of plants including blue bells, dahlia and magnolias. In the hotel lobby, Chilean lilies, boxwood and blue bells add color and energy to the interior.

Both the interiors and exterior have been re-designed by Jacques Garcia; famed for his work in the Hotel Costes in Paris, Hotel La Reserve in Geneva and La Mamounia in Marrakech. Whilst the exterior of the property and its overall ambience remain classic in style, Garcia has added a modern twist, ensuring that Hotel Metropole is now set apart from the other Casino Square properties.
