Rachel Leroy Bottega Veneta, one of the most important Italy’s master leather craftsmen, was acquired in February 2001 by PPR Luxury Group, formerly known as Gucci Group. The criticized Gucci strategy was to put their logo on almost anything so Bottega Veneta start to introduce additions to the collection, including fragrance, fine jewelry, a watch, furniture, and home accessories, while continuing to offer what they know to do the best: handbags, shoes, small leather goods, eyewear, luggage, and gifts.
