The beams used in the relaxation pavilions are made of recycled wood and bronze, allowing fresh air to circulate easily as well as making them eco-friendly. The same goes with the villas. Incorporating locally sourced materials, bamboos were used to take advantage of fresh air coming in while large glass windows ensured guests enjoyed uninterrupted views of the ocean. Flat, lava rock roofs complemented the native furnishings of the rooms with Balinese touches. Modern conveniences such as complimentary Internet access were added in subtly. Snug, cozy and comfortable, each villa was carefully designed to evoke relaxation in a natural surrounding, equipped with private cabanas. It is no wonder guests staying in Alila Villas Uluwatu find it hard to leave when the time comes for them to go.
