Rachel Leroy “The Diamond Sterling” is the most expensive bottle of tequila to ever be put on sale at $3.5 million. The 1.3 liters 100% agave tequila content was created by Tequila Ley .95 and the five-pound platinum bottle was crafted by Mexican artist Fernando Altamirano and for bottle decoration he use 4,000 diamonds, with a grand total of 328 carats.
There are two bottles of “The Diamond Sterling” in the world and one of them was sold in 2006 for $225,000.
